Van Eye is a clever visual deterrent designed to help prevent break-ins by showing potential thieves that your van is empty. When someone looks through the external 220° fisheye lens, a powerful 30W COB LED light automatically illuminates the inside of the van – clearly revealing there are no tools or valuables inside. This simple but effective visual cue helps discourage theft before damage is done.

Yes – Van Eye is built to withstand all weather conditions. Its durable, weather-resistant housing means it continues to function reliably through rain, frost, and fluctuating temperatures.
You will need a measuring tape, a marker pen, a power drill, a small steel drill bit (3-5mm), a step steel drill bit (4-22mm) and a 20mm spanner.
You should also make sure you have all the necessary safety equipment to ensure your own safety whilst fitting the device. We would recommend wearing safety goggles and gloves particularly whilst drilling holes through the van door and whilst positioning the Van Eye device through the cut metal hole in the door panel as the edge of this hole will be very sharp.
Van Eye is an additional security feature designed to help prevent van break-ins and tool theft. As such, it is generally viewed as a positive addition to your vehicle. However, we recommend informing your insurance provider that the system has been installed to ensure your policy details are up to date.
